When you need a great place to get away from it all, the Real America region has what you are looking for. You can relax your mind and body at the many hot springs resorts available in the itinerary below.

Day 1/2 - Arrive Salt Lake City
North of Salt Lake City enjoy Crystal Hot Springs, a Honeyville resort, with pools and saunas as well as Belmont Hot Springs a mile south of Plymouth. At Belmont the pools are big enough for scuba diving and the water is warm enough that tropical fish and lobsters are raised on the property. Overnight Salt Lake City.

Day 3 - Salt Lake City to Pocatello
Lava Hot Springs is believed to have kept its constant temperature for 50 million years. It is a world-class facility and spa catering to visitors from all over the world. The constant 43° C (110° F) indoor and outdoor pools are sulfur-free. Heise Hot Springs, near Ririe, features indoor and outdoor pools and is open year-round except the month of November. Overnight Lava Hot Springs or Pocatello.

Day 4 - Pocatello to Twin Falls or Mountain Home
In the beautiful Hagerman Valley, there are three developed hot springs facilities located on Scenic Highway 30, complete with camping and boating facilities. Givens Hot Springs features an indoor pool located near the Oregon Trail and is run by a descendant of the pioneer who first established the resort. Overnight Twin Falls or Mountain Home.

Day 5 - Mountain Home to McCall
Zims Hot Springs in New Meadows is open year round and features two large pools. One pool is kept at a cool 34° C (93° F) and the other soaking pool is kept at 40° C (103° F). Overnight New Meadows or McCall.

Day 6 - McCall to Grangeville
Riggins Hot Springs, located 15 km (9 miles) up the Salmon River from Riggins, Idaho has been used for generations as a natural healing place by the Nez Perce Indians. Today there is a secluded mountain resort in which to enjoy the natural springs. Overnight Riggins or Grangeville.

Day 7 - Grangeville to Missoula
Lolo Hot Springs is a Lewis & Clark historical site. Year-round facilities include a saloon, restaurant, gallery and natural mineral hot springs pools and lodging. Overnight Lolo or Missoula.

Day 8 - Missoula to Anaconda
The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, located between Butte and Anaconda 3 miles off I-90, features two Olympic size swimming pools with temperatures ranging from 31° to 41° C (88° to 104° F). Guests have 24 hour access to the pools, as well as a good location for exploring central Montana. Overnight Fairmont.

Day 9 - Anaconda to Chico Hot Springs (Pray, MT)
Chico Hot Springs in Pray is a local (and RMI) favorite, featuring mineral hot springs, fine dining and summer and winter recreation. Overnight Chico.

Day 10 - Chico to Thermopolis
Greek for "Hot City", Thermopolis has two large hot spring complexes, the Star Plunge and Teepee, as well as a free public bathhouse. Temperatures range from cool to 41° C (106° F), and visitors have a choice of a soak or the water slides. Hotels in the park offer massages, mineral pools and deluxe accommodations. Overnight Thermopolis.

Day 11/12 - Thermopolis to Hot Springs
Hot Springs, in South Dakota, features the Evans Plunge, the world?s largest natural warm-water indoor swimming pool, which is a consistent 30.5° C (87° F). Besides the swimming area, there are three water slides, sauna, steam room, two spas, executive center and more. Overnight Hot Springs.

Day 13/14 - Hot Springs to Saratoga
Saratoga Hot Springs in Saratoga features several private springs and pools, as well as a free public soaking pool open 24 hours a day all year. Overnight Saratoga.

Day 15 - Saratoga to Denver
Idaho Hot Springs Resort near Denver offers caves and natural hot springs in an historic old gold mining town. Overnight Denver.
