Half Moon Ranch offers Snowy Mountain cabin rentals and group accommodations. Activities include wagon train tours, stream or private lake fishing, hiking, photo trips and wildlife viewing.

Not a vacation, a trip back in time. Ride gentle horses and travel by covered wagon to sit in a meadow for a sunny nap and run for cover as you stare into a double rainbow; a rest from hurry; a deep drink of nature; wake with the sun without an alarm. As much or as little as you want to do. Zero pressure. Complete satisfaction.

Half Moon Ranch brings the first wagon train tours for the summer, extending on into September. The wagon train route includes semi wooded areas, rivers, streams, and majestic Snowy Mountains view. The wagon train tours offer two types of tours: one that offers a quiet time to enjoy the outdoors and the soothing crackling fire in the evenings, the other is a more custom tour which offers entertainment in the evenings such as cowboy poetry and songs. All meals are cooked in the wide open spaces and consumed around the camp fire as did the early pioneers. For further information, call 406-575-4055 or visit our website at www.hmradventures.com

THE HIDEOUT IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL DUDE RANCH...

With approx. 300.000 acres, the amount of life stock, farming property, horses and the diversity of terrain, we are one of the bigger and older ranches in the area. At The Hideout Guest Ranch we strive to offer excellence in hospitality, lodging and culinary pampering. Usually we accommodate 15 to 25 guests a week, which allows us to keep it personal and authentic, almost customized.

The Hideout is known for offering an authentic working cattle ranch experience, excellent equestrian programs including natural horsemanship, as well as other outdoor, educational and environmental awareness programs.

Our experience is more focused towards adults and families with older children, who have some equestrian experience or are in good physical condition. We believe that part of a family vacation involves parents and children participating in, enjoying and sharing the same experiences.

With exception of July and August, The Hideout is adult oriented.
We do not offer the traditional "kids program". Our programs are geared more toward educating our guests; whether learning more about horsemanship, Stockmanship, working cattle, cowboying, fly fishing, hiking or a trip to the local dinosaur dig sites while having fun and being pampered. We strive to treat children as young adults and to offer them the full Hideout ranch experience.
